Truro Locusts 2 (422.) [pastel 29″ x 24″ ] depicts  the glare of a sunny day at high noon on Cape Cod. Your eyes are reacting to the bright light reflected by the sand, and you are staring into the shade created by the locusts —  ancient, pale trees which are so impermeable that they are used as fence posts.

Also a Gallery Tour of the National Arts Club September 19, 6 pm.  Open to the public – free of charge. Commentator: Liz Haywood-Sullivan, PSA
